Deb Jasinski

Writing a bio isn’t an easy task.  What could I possibly tell you that would keep you interested enough to read right through to the end? I could tell you that I am a mother of two and I think I am pretty good at at it, although some days my kids may beg to differ.   I could tell you that I have a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Studies, although I haven’t used it since the day I received my diploma. I could also tell you that I am married to the greatest guy in the world, but that sounds so cliché (even though it is the truth).

Instead, I will tell you about my aptitude for floral art.  It is the one thing in this world that I know I am really great at.  I have been working in the floral industry for over twenty years:  teaching, training, designing, managing and coordinating.  I am even certified through Flowers Canada.  Soon I will be entering my 10th year as the manager and head designer of a cutting-edge flower shop in Waterloo, Ontario called Lilies White.  Every day is a new design adventure; every day I have the honour of working with exotic flowers from all over the world; every day I am surrounded by beauty.
